Multipoint Calibration

Jacmo provides a full in-house maintenance, repair and calibration service for all of your monitoring equipment needs, with guaranteed quick turn-around time. Our experienced technicians can diagnose, repair and re-calibrate your equipment to be ready for use back in the field.

What’s more? Our service technicians can advise you on the best approach to get your equipment up and running as quickly as possible. Jacmo provides maintenance, repair and calibration services for a broad range of monitoring equipment including gas analysers, particulate monitors, water quality sensors, water samplers, CEMS monitoring equipment, gas calibrators, and many more.

Whether an existing air quality station modification or a new air quality station, we have the knowledge and experience you need to produce a valid and complete data set - the first time, every time. Our maintenance and calibration services are critical to keeping meteorological equipment in good working order and producing accurate data. We also provide the ultimate convenience of complete and custom data access.

Zero/Span Calibration

We understand that fresh air setup allows an instrument sensor to establish a zero baseline but within only a limited window of correction. If sensor readings are not within an acceptable range relative to zero, FAS will fail, and full calibration is recommended. Fresh air setup should be performed only within the air that is not contaminated with the background gas.

Full calibration consists of zero calibration and span calibration. We can do both or any of them. Zero calibration is a more accurate adjustment at the sensor level than is fresh air setup, executed by resetting the sensor to zero values. Also, zero calibration can adjust for significant non-zero readings to return to baseline. These are generally done before span calibrations in which the sensor is calibrated against known gas concentration.

Ambient air quality monitoring typically includes point source systems and open-path air quality sensors. We provide real-time, continuous monitoring solutions for gaseous pollutants, aerosol tracking, airborne particulates/ dust, and fugitive gases in ambient air.

Repairs to all equipment

Jacmo provides maintenance services for a wide range of monitoring equipment. Services provided include maintenance as per relevant standards, for example, instrument strip down and cleaning, replacement of critical components (e.g. filters, orifices, seals and o-rings, bearings), replacement of calibration atmosphere scrubbing materials, and system leak checks.

We have experience in monitoring site equipment installation and maintenance, data quality assurance, and agency negotiations. Our team of specialists who configure, install, calibrate, data process, and quality assure stations across the country. We provide a full in-house maintenance, repair and calibration service for all of your monitoring equipment needs, with guaranteed quick turn-around time.

Jacmo can evaluate the performance of existing monitoring equipment, taking into historical maintenance, age of equipment, and provide a cost-benefit analysis of repairing/ replacing failing equipment, to ensure your monitoring network meets your regulatory requirements.

Our experienced technicians can diagnose, repair and re-calibrate your equipment to be ready for use back in the field and provide traceable calibration reports. Our service technicians can advise you on the best approach to get your equipment up and running as quickly as possible.

Instrumentation

Instrumentation instruments measure field parameters (physical values) such as flow, pressure, temperature, density, and level. Instrumentation is an integral part of that implementation and maintenance or troubleshooting all its functioning instruments for best performance and response of safety systems, control systems and smooth operation of a plant. If these systems fail, this will result in production loss, system damage, plant shutdowns, penalties or losses due to failure of compliance.

Measurements and data acquired by our systems can be used for compliance monitoring, alarming or notification, and air-quality and dispersion modelling at refineries, landfills, construction sites, and in many other locations where particulates, gases, or even odours need to be monitored. Our prowess in Instrumentation and instruments is in Coriolis (mass) flowmeters, turbine flowmeters; analytical Ph/ ORP measurement; Conductivity; Pressure gauges & switches; water purification equipment; softeners; ultrasonic; valves.; diaphragm operated valves; thermocouples and RTD's; hazardous location equipment; and intrinsic safety barriers/ isolators.

Typical sensors used on our stations include, but are not limited to: wind speed, wind direction, solar radiation, delta temperature (SRDT), air temperature, water temperature, soil temperature, relative humidity, precipitation, and barometric pressure. Jacmo provides a professional approach to Instrumentation that lets clients rely on quality services and results. Whether it be building, optimizing, managing or just maintaining instruments, Jacmo continues to focus on providing bottom-line value.
